I know we need it for haze season now, but seriously it's been like that all along. 2013, 2014 to a certain extent. Haze comes, all people rush buy. OOS. Slow etc. 11.11 also same. Xmas also same, delays. Besides there were CN and SK holidays.

Yup called the AC service guy and its working fine now but I didn't install filtrete (already passed the remaining roll to a friend when the leak first started)

You can size it for 60mm, the "H12" filter. Main point, it needs to be thickhe filter depth dimension so that the pleats can be deep this much more surface area (use scotchtape/double sided tape to secure, whatever) and/or lower resistance media.

Seriously, the car cabin is small. You don't really need much cleaning power. But it will get warm, so you'd still need the airflow to keep cool and keep the AC coil from freezing. So try not to set it too cold.

Own risk hor, AC repair is not cheap.

found non-customized AC hepa filter on TB for my car model. Will probably test it out before deciding if i wanna customize or not .. .

Record in Moscow - 16.6 MPC 06/08/2010
But this level was change itself
It was in 2010 - 0.5 mg/m3, now - 0.3mg/m3

Thus right value - 8300 ug/m3

Wasn't only particulate matter, but also gases like CO (6 times over air quality standards limit).

It's FZ-200HF. Normally can get around RMB 70.
But that's 30mm thickness.

I customised the same filter from him. 4pcs, each piece was only RMB 87.5 for 45mm thickness. The KC-840E back pre-filter cover could barely close, it left a slight gap with the main nody which I used scotch tape to tape so as to prevent bypass. But it's worth it, even though the PP filter media on Taobao is more restrictive, the increase in filter depth increased the airflow somewhat with 30mm original -> 45mm taobao heap.

I did that in June only, 3+ months ago.

BTW, the above filter size is the same as A40 as well. But not sure about the 45mm depth, shd be able to fit ba.

RMB350 45mm 4pcs vs SGD400 4pcs. No brainer. CADR is probably a wee bit better somemore.

That's likely to be the same grade and same PP material. Ie china grade. H11.5 97% eff.

With regards to the funny smell on new AP, perhaps the LG AP Manual offer some answer:
• Is the odor generated in the initial phase after purchasing the product?

• It is a smell of activated carbon. It disappears after
1~2 weeks after product operation. It is a smell of
activated carbon (charcoal) harmless to human
body. (It is the same phenomenon as a new car.)

Tip : For Amazon's Amarex/UPS/Speedpost, and Taobao's speedpost, what i'll do is to leave the riser door ajar and post a note on my gate. Leave your mobile number there and put on the note to deposit the package in riser.

Of coz, would only work if your unit has a riser right beside the door.
