Pull air out with ventilator why need filter? Pull air in then need mah

Edited: k kimsim is drawing air in...then some filter better than none...oso keep louvre window for normal day usage without turning on ventilator.

Personally would prefer pull air out...then shut dwn ventilator on normal days

Pull air out seems like the better option, esp. ppl do big business the air goes out instead =:p

Aiya outside just spray water clean during rainy days...k perhaps depends on ur flat layout...mine is right next to ac unit so will take opportunity to clean the ac ventilator too with this, or just pail of water splash

Anyone used TAOBAO filter on their AX40 and manage to bring the particles to 0ug/m3?

I replaced the new TAOBAO filter and stuffed tissues at all 4 sides. Reading from outlet maintains around 20ug/m3. Can't go down further.

I used the cheap TB commoner hepa on my sharp A28 and managed to get 0 at the vent. But that's only when I tried reading it a second time. First time cannot, because I positioned the particle counter incorrectly.

Need to have a bit of technique in positioning the meter.

If you have been playing with the meter esp with "huge" meters like the Samo Air, you'd notice that even tilting the intake towards the coming wind direction of outside hazy air would ramp up the readings by 10-20%.

Just a few cm above the air outlet stream, that area could possibly be contaminated by regular room air. And if you room air is already > 200 ug/m3 raw on the meter, then it figures.

Case in point, my B4 meter if the left side is facing the polluted wind, it goes ballistic and shows 350 ug/m3 raw figure. The right side is facing the polluted wind, it drops to 90 only.

Windows closed, no draft. It's 230 ug/m3 raw. (in which I'd usually div by 2 to get the NEA figure for the past hour, if the NEA graph on fuzzy website is not trending up or down by a lot)

I'm using samo air and positions of the intake is same for original and TB filter. I'm suspecting that the TB filter is of lower efficiency.
Do we need to stuff a lot of the tissues or just a layer to cover any possible gap would be sufficient?

Got light indication...Red- Dirty, Orange Medium, Blue means clean air, Hepa Filter 2.5!

WRX bro tested the tb hepa to be around 98% efficient, not a big issue though, no need to worry.
