It's like this. Second button (active) cycles between Auto->Strong->weak->sleep.

3rd button, short press is Ioniser selector. Long press (3sec) is filter reset button.

The rightmost 4 buttons no effect....just for display nia. :D

Diamond air purifier good ? .. Looks good but I'm worried abt availability and price of hepa filter.. Saw at the motherhood expo fair yesterday..
Got offer now $320 .. » Diamond Water Singapore – Price

I can't find nothing regarding the specs of that Diamond product.

IF that's the case, you might as well take the risk and get the cheap stuff from taobao. At least got filter support, ie just whack 6 pieces over for a really cheap price.

Lock means button lock out.

Filter reset will light up to remind you that the "electronic timer" is up, ie time to change filter. You can safely "ignore" this feature as it serves no real meaningful purpose. Same goes for other models from Sharp/Blueair as well, etc.

Just stick a piece of small paper +date of filter installation at the back protected by scotch tape over it, and feel the output airflow from time to time.

For > 60sqm purifiers, just check out the Coway 3008. (Don't think anyone will get, but just for info...) That's a monster.

CADR = 1008m^3/hr.

Blueair 650W is 830m^3/hr.
Samsung AX40 is 350m^3/hr.
Sharp A80 is 480m^3/hr, but it's actually E10/H10, so you gotta times 0.85 so it's "CADR" is 408m^3/hr.
Hitachi EP-A7000 is 420 m^3/hr.
Sharp A50 is 396m^3/hr

All of the above is HEPA 13 except Sharp A80.

Novita NAP611 and TCL 260A are the same stuff, they spec 600m^3/hr in turbo mode, but I am quite sceptical about this. (check it out in the stores, feel the airflow).

Hi did anyone buy the Novita NAP2000H?

I was looking for an air purifier which comes with humidifier, and am quite divided between Novita NAP2000H and Sharp KC-D40E.

Novita comes with an additional air filter, and 3 years warranty.

Any pro got any insights?

Been looking at this for a long time, don't know whether to hoot or not.
All the recent comments, even on 2nd of June, are good. Well I have 11 smoke detectors at home and have 3 as spares, so no worries on that part. :D

HEPA Filter size is 10 inch by 11 inch by 1 inch. But if you forgo the AC filter, probably can free up some 0.5 inch. So the Fellowes HF-230 and Vornado MD1 True HEPA filter from Amazon can cut and fit.

The stock filter is most probably some HEPA10 or something.

Comments all say output airflow is strong. (can't totally trust the specs)

Only RMB299/SGD60. 4PX forwarder shipping probably SGD35.8 or so. (from what I read, nobody kena volumetric wt before by 4PX)

anyone know where i can download the AX40H5000GMD english manual?

Hi,

Just received the AX40 Samsung. Fast delivery but didn’t have English manual as expected. Anyone can post a proper printable English manual? The previous link given in the forum, I was unable to print as a manual (pages were lumped together).

Any idea how to turn off or on the virus doctor > ?

Am concerned abt the ozone.

Btw the purifier is very quiet even in high speed.:)

Found the link, but not able to print it out. Any other better link for the manual. Anyone with a manual pls help.

Go samsung singapore website, look for product support and u can find AX021 english manual. AX021 is a new model released in 2014 with smaller capacity, however, it should be similar to the AX40 as far as operation, maintenance is concerned.

Hope this helps.
