The original filter thickness including AC is about 50mm and prefilter fits, how come customize 50mm hepa not recommended?

The seller can only customise to 35, 45 and 60mm thickness.

280mm is an ok fit. It is recommended to stuff up the small gap with the plastic packaging (cut and roll etc) to prevent bypass.

Too tight a fit is not recommended. ie 282mm.

For the other dimension, 310mm is ok.

I only have 250mm width HEPA so just plan to use it first and when buy new one then look for 400~450mm width HEPA

For the LG LA-Q379SB, which side of the Hepa filter should face inwards? There is a black surface (should be the nano-silver coating) on one side, and the normal beige surface on the other side). I pulled it out and forgot the direction of its facing lol. There are some korean words with arrows pointing on the top of the filter but I don't understand them. There are tabs on the black surface side. Don't know if it matters.

You mean you would recommend the FU-Z31 or A28 over the Samsung AX41/40 (despite both having a lower rated flow rate)..?
