Cigarette smoke as source. PM particle size distribution. 0.15 microns to 0.5 microns.

Indonesia biomass haze PM particle ize distribution. 0.2 microns to 1 micron. Sharp modal peak at 0.5 to 0.6 microns.

We achieved a peak of 356 ug/m3 for this morning WEST from 7-8AM.
South got a peak of 353 ug/m3 this morning 3AM to 4AM.

Wow GN Estore from rakuten shipped my AX40 liao! Ordered just after midnight on 24, they shipped the same day. Now transit in Gz and supposed to be delivered Mon So not so bad that I paid a few dollars extra

sensor is quite accurate I guess, like good enough to feel and smell okay. you think it's good enough if I really double check by moving it around every corner, and it still maintains blue light = really clean air? oh, so Sharp's sensor matches your readings or how do you check? ^^

Every 6-12 hrs, open the windows wide for 1-2 minutes. Close, blast air purifier at max speed.

PS. Don't rely on the Samsung AX40 / 20 LED indicator as a measurement of air quality. The best sensor I have experienced is Sharp.

If you are interested in checking air quality, get a laser particle counter. And or TVOC meter.

I paid $253 using semair10 and ocbc discounts so still not so bad (I may or may not get Taobao filter since I can't read Chinese )

Anyway what matters now is how soon it comes since Korea shut down for Chuseok weekend liao. I was only expecting them to ship after the holiday is over. Which reminds me, I better go wish my friends happy thanksgiving

Just received the ax40 aft reading so many reviews here! Using it in my room, but once I turned it on, the indicator has been blue all the way leh. No red at all... but my room is quite dusty so kinda skeptical now lol. Will test in the living room later and update! Switched on the AC and AP, room is v cold now!

Hope PSI drops, throat and eyes very pain these few days.

What is the model that you bought?

I bought the LG PS209.
While relatively not among the best performers in the CASE test here:

But it's the only one (reasonably priced) that I can get on hand immediately now, and anyway the performance numbers >90% should be already much better than not using at all
