Bro WRX,

Toabao HEPA 300x300x25mm fits the AX40, with airflow reduced by 35%.
Customized ones at 45mm or 60mm improves airflow to near original or slightly better, but are more expensive. Correct bo?

I also just opened my 1 week old AX40 to vacuum the pre-filter. filter itself still looks white but the 3M Filtrete I placed just after the pre-filter turned greyish

Sounds like the 3M electrostatic filter is doing all the dirty job while the HEPA jiak liao bee.
Seriously, the exhaust side will look clean, cos all the nasties are trapped on the intake side. Intake side is only visible after u separate the charcoal filter.

Exhaust side is white, intake side is blue.

Had another look at the ax40 charcoal screen...I think it's way too tedious and time consuming to DIY replacement of charcoal granules. Too much time and effort for something that only lasts 1-3 months. Simpler and easier to just get a $2 activated charcoal pouch from Daiso and place it on the exhaust vanes.

We already use aircon just put pile of water below each unit do helps

You need to use at least a 1.5 x the wattage of the equipment. That's the minimum.

AX40 original Samsung HEPA is 40mm. Slice it open and its 40mm.

I have no experience with AX037.

Not sure what/how is the logic behind your " thinner depth HEPA is good." 310x280x40mm vs 310x280x45mm, the 45mm filter has more media/more surface area when the pleats are all opened up, flows more.

Customise to 45mm, that is my recommendation.
Can do 60mm too if you want, but prefilter need to DIY as original cant fit.

1pc is rmb 135. 4pcs is rmb110.

If too much trouble, suggest just get the originals.

Personal choice ba.

So just tell the TB seller the above spec and it will plug and play to the Samsung AP?

When you cannot tahan the smelly air coming from the output.

Approx 6 months can change. Or time it 8 months non hazy and 4 months hazy change cycle.

I'm also trying to get some spare filters for my Samsung AX40. What I lack is the right merchandise link & the specific spec to tell him. Anybody who can share this information I can order a few for you (no monetary profit). Self-collect at Tanjong Pagar station during lunch time on weekdays.

In terms of shipment optimization, with air shipment not much optimization. Unless you ordering enough to exceed 10kg for air shipment, or enough purifiers to clock 1 cubic metre (at which point can consider sea shipment which will take close to 1 mth to reach SG).

Just let me know the details.
