lol but yea, nowadays, everything's that released online is scalper heaven it seems. Maybe product owners will start taking the scalping situation seriously when they see the long term effects of it affecting their business.

Take the sneaker game for example, pretty much most genuine sneakerheads i know on and offline already mostly given up already. I'm also more or less given up, and that's coming from someone who spent at least 30k over the past years

The sneaker game has been ruined by bots. Tried going for the Sacai Vaporwaffles this morning, already knew the Nike site would be botted to hell and back but I just gave it a go anyway. Carted at 10.01am but transaction didn’t go through because of course the bots already grabbed all the stock by then.

My review of AirPods Max:
I think my eardrums are spoilt. I need to ask Siri to “Hey Siri, set vol to 85-90%” in order to feed my listening appetite so as to be able to pick up the details in the songs that I’m hearing. My daughter says have leakage. She can hear my tracks playing.

The sleeves provided is magnetic closure. It’s really not marketing gimmicks when Apple market this product as high-fidelity audio. For a BT5.0 headset, you can hear your artistes inside your track catching their breath as they sing, breathing in and out like as if they’re right in front of you. I’m pretty impressed.

The ease: when you’re out and about shopping, ordering food, either can press physical button one time to change to transparency mode. Or just bring down headset to your neck. Fast and easy. Chew food also not scared jaw movement will dislodge AirPods Pro from dropping (who else experienced this?)

I’m comparing quite extensively playing different tracks-fast, slow, rock, mandopop-Against AirPods Pro vs AirPods Max. When your ears are slowly picking out such a whole lot of details in a song, the melodious wide soundstage of your song slowly melting your heart & soul, suddenly you wouldn’t want to use your APP to listen to tracks anymore! Quite drastic the difference.

Output: Of coz can’t compare wired uiem to BT. Vocals upper mids, surely wired uiem is better, clarity and loudness wise.

Built quality & color: Bros, choose your colours properly. As the telescoping arms part is velvet material. I foresee silver and green the arms part will become yellow very fast due to the light colours. As and when, when we bring down headset to our neck and rest it there while outside.
Aluminium cups are rock solid. Only afraid of getting scratches.

Just tried these out at the MBS store. I take back what I said about the placement of the crown, placement is still a little awkward but operation is nice and smooth. Sound signature has a bit of a bass bump to it but mids come across clear, these are going to be great for movies. Audiophiles rocking neutral setups won’t be impressed but the APM has a sound that should please everybody else. Comfort and materials are excellent but I’m still not convinced the mesh is going to hold up over time.

All in all, an excellent headphone. Users deep in the Apple ecosystem should seriously consider these if they’re looking to pick up a ANC headphone, even if they’re expensive af. Comparisons to Bose and Sony aren’t even fair, whatever shortcomings the APM have are more than made up for by Apple’s excellent software (this only applies if you’re in the Apple ecosystem).

After ytd night full charge, I’ve listened to music for around 1 hour this morning. 17 hours have passed and my APM has very good low power mode inside the sleeve case. Maintaining at 95%.https://m.gsmarena.com/apple_details_airpods_max_low_power_mode_in_support_document-news-46820.php

Tug inside my sling bag just nice, not bulky not heavy.

The placement of the crown to me is still ok. I hardly change volume once I’m comfortable with the initial setting vol when paired.

Thereafter if I wanna skip song, I press skip using my Apple Watch and not the crown. Which is hardly too as I love all my tracks.

And about the headband mesh being seemingly not so lasting, well we just gotta be careful. Any sharp objects accidental slide against it sure tear.

I like the aluminium cups and arms. Arms look very sturdy. Cups is very cold and nice to touch inside aircon room.

But the main reason why I bought this is not just the aesthetics. It’s the ease of pairing, excellent music SQ, and plus I’m a music freak.

Getting this APM feels more happy to me than having got any other Apple products that I own lol.

You no need to worry about the oil stains that while keeping your AirPods Pro inside your case, that feeling. I believe most of you bros will also find it irks you to see that oil marks, caused by the silicone tips of the APP.

This APM you wanna disengage, just bring down and rest on your neck. To engage, bring it up to your ears and it plays instantly.

Listening to music never felt so comfortable before.
