Yeah, I agree w/ you on the cable thing. But somehow most headphones/earphones I have left have fixed cables: T5p, MR Pro, K3003i. OMX980, MX985 ... The PFE 232 does have removable cables, but it's pretty hard to get third party or customized cables for it due to lack of users I guess.

Anyway, if used with care, those cables should last longer than the speakers/drives inside the housings :)

Have you tried the TG334? So far It has been poisoning people like a serial killer. Making users smile while the wallet cries. :)

Sold the IE800 for these K3003i, don't know if I've made the right decision though:

The detail and soundstage w/ this K3003 are better, and its cable isn't making as much noise as the IE800's stiff cable, but I kinda miss the IE800's mid, although its bass can be overwhelming sometimes. For classical music (which I start to enjoy more lately), this AKG certainly has advantage over the Senn. IE800 I'd say :)

The other good match to the player is the Alessandro MS Pro which I'm very fond of lately, especially for strings and pianos, great for vocals too.

Ur leather casing seems like it had been polished, very nice.

No, I haven't. Might give it a try, but would love to hear it first. Pity I can't seem to find demo set here in SG, and I missed the last outing :(

spectral korkor have TG334, maybe can ask him to poison you? :D Both of us also west-siders.

Haha, probably due to color of the photo. But actual color isn't so dark :)

My AK120 case alot of scratch marks, looks very seasoned alr. But I like the rugged look haha!!

3003 mids/vocals can be spine tingling. simply love it. tend to be quite treble emphasized but not as splashy as ie800 imo. gotta pair with the right gear that rounds off the top end. can't have those that make it sounds like on steroids lol...

btw you can use the stock tips? i mean they actually work/seal properly for you?

also, you using it with iphone? there's a non-remote version for ~$100 lesser though.

334 is good but it's certainly not a end-all iem. 334 and 3003 sound are totally different, so individual preference still comes into play.
