I paid $150 for my Amaron. ((((((( Damn. I thought the price has gone up due to inflation. Installed it at one of the workshop at Pionner. Btw, my drive is a Altis 1.6 .

I paid $105 for the 45mah Amaron hi-life...

By the way how many types of Amaron battery are there?

Are there at least 2 types?
Normal Amaron and Amaron Hi-life??

And if really so, what are the price diff if any.
Just wish to know what I am paying for.

Are you driving a manual or auto? Last time drove manual still can tell
battery going to die cos at time difficult to crank start. Driving auto and
that time battery just die without any symptom at all

Many many factors involved...... Just buy batt alone??? Servicing required etc...... different shops quote differently as well.

For 45ah amaron batteries, price should be between 90 to 120. If you can get at 75 to 90, that kind of price is friendship price, or the bloody battery is a recon unit.

Don't think its possible to recon battery..... You can only recycle batteries, cannot recon.

Heard nam Wah, the distributor, controls price for Amaron.... So bros who received good deals, dun openly mention shop name.. Else shop may get in trouble and nam Wah dun sell to that shop anymore....

It's like Queensway shoes, shop discount but the price is controlled...
