You can check in 2 luggage, each should be max 23KG, anything more then extra charge..

Linear dimension of luggage at max 158cm..Cannot exceed 158cm if not kena...

You cannot have like 1 x 30kg and another mayb 15kg(Still falls within 2 x 23kg = 46kg)..

hmm they let me passed last sat ...

i definitely have one luggage more than 23kg but another much lesser ...

What a pity.
If late-late OCT, i think kena OSAKA Marathon, road closure. Better avoid.

How bad will the road closure be? Only on the day of the marathon? Just realised I am landing in Osaka on the evening of 29 Oct and the marathon's on the next day! Maybe I will head for Kobe first.

Really no idea.
Surely Osaka will be crowded.
The next few days, the surrounding will be crowded too.

Anyone use the online check in function for ANA? How does it work? So we don't have to queue to check in? What about our luggage?

Slightly OT, is landing at Osaka Kansai still overly crowded? Been reading stories that they have to wait for 2-4 hours in order to exit immigration. Not sure if this has been improved now.

I would like to know more abt this too, hope someone who is experienced with landing in KIX airport would share some feedback with us. Actually according to a press statement issued by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure Transport and Tourism JP that i saw awhile ago, they did mentioned that they will start programmes to introduce fast lanes for Immigration processing, but the programme is currently only aimed at VIPs and important passengers limited to under Business and First Class cabin ticket holders.

Press Release: http://www.mlit.go.jp/common/001123753.pdf

Have an upcoming trip during June, and will only spend the first night in Tokyo Ginza area before moving on to Osaka to visit some japanese friends. Had some pretty gd experience with shopping at Haneda Terminal 1 and 2, thinking to grab some food omiyages there for my Kansai friends then take a domestic flight into KIX directly. But if the KIX situation doesn't seem to improve, I will prolly drop this idea and take the usual Tokaido Shinkansen into Osaka.
