You have to buy from Market in order for the app/games to be seen. In that sense I think it's better to buy from the Market.

How to buy from market if you can't even see them in market?

Battleheart. Can see from eee transformer but couldn't on SGS.
My guess is the dev deliberately blocked it from devices where the /cache is smaller than 46mb. This is the same reason Airattack HD came in 2 versions for the paid version. :( This filter service was introduced during the latest Google I/O.

At launch Battleheart dev specifically said several models should not attempt to buy the game, SGS was one of them.

The only way now? Extract from your transformer and try to install, or climb the mountain way, or change to a less crappy model. Even if your CM7 has more than 46mb in /cache, it's still identified to a i9000 to Market.

Yeah, blame Samsung for their stupidity.

Thanks for pointing out the possible cause, I did manage to see a Galaxy S entry on the web market but it could be from a earlier setup/rom because selecting it didn't start the installation on my phone. There was another greyed out entry which must be for my "current i9000"

Looks like "borrowing" my other copy is the only solution

Sadly, this will happen for a lot of games since Google raised the apk limit to 50mb. Samsung should burn in hell for this. :(

Burn? Won't burn la. Just look at the hype in the SGS2 thread. More good years ahead for them.

'cause they stopped trying to make the phone "special" and made it actually work properly.

Haha...definitely. Just for the poor i9000 users to burn in hell then. :D

And with HTC locking all their latest phones, it's even better for Samsung. :)

What do you mean they were trying to make the phone special? By using the RFS system what was the intended special they were trying to achieve?

Also installing spoilt gps makes me so mad.

Truly the SGS1 owners really kena burn.

Not just that, they also made their phone truly special with the 30mb cache. :s13:
