Hi all

I'm looking into getting an Android box as i intend to remove my Starhub TV services.

I've been looking around online and was quite ineterested inthe T95 Plus box, ehich runs Android 11.

Does anyone have any experience with this particular model or the newer T95Z Plus model?

Would appreciate any feedback or opinions on it. Thanks!

hi bros
first you must understand that an android box is just a device. if you looking for those box that come with iptv you may need to know the particular box to buy but usually those app fail after sometime and you may need to subscript to a service. If you are just looking for a android box perhap you may consider a google tv (prism , TCL Sony and many other ) then the best option is get a android TV which come with google tv os and you can sideload your own iptv and app into the tv and enjoy like an android box and the quality could be better.

first i need to know which brand of smart tv you are using.
if it is prism, TCL or sony or any google tv os then go to the app store and download
send file to TV and you need a android phone or device with the apk and also installed send file to TV
Using send file to tv you can start sending your apk into the tv and installed them.
If you need further help can pm me.

Thanks for your reply.

My TV is just a regular Philips LCD TV,that;s why I'm looking an the android box.

So most of those boxes that are advetised do require a type of subscription to keep the app running? Can I sideload my own iptv or app into these boxes?

Or are they "hard locked" to prevent side loading?

On the other hand, will a xiaomi box be able to be sideloaded with other apks?

Yes, most android box can allow u to install your own apk. only a number of apk which is not compatiable will not work.
It is pretty simple to installed your own app into most android box.
PM me when u need help.

That means if I decide to get a T95 Plus or any other android box model, I can just load my own "friendly" IPTV app for usage?

The only thing would be to get one with enough RAM and storage to handle it. I'm aiming for the 8GB/64GB model with a wired and wireless network connections, as I intend to go wired on it.

I did a price comparison and would most probably get the box from the source country, rather than locally. I will PM you when the time comes. Thanks!

first let me know what app you intent to load, for price and quality consideration ie without those preloaded iptv a google tv chomecast will be good enough cost less than $70. It come with most of the standard app such as youtube, netflix, viu, amazon, disney and so on.
it is light weight and portable. it come with HDMI plugin with a mini usb power port. There are no other port you will need to use wifi.
Since it got no usb or other port, installing app is a litter tricky but rest assure, all is ok.
I have done installing app with the google tv chomecast with some difficulty but manageable.
meanwhile, you can try ott player in your android phone, i will pm you the login id

mewatch loading is quite heavy often break out intermittence. The live tv channels often dont work.
Could be the wifi weak or the Mewatch requires lots of data transfer. Best to get an Android box with Ethernet port or tv.

i dont think got anything to do with the network. I try it on many different network and device. All give the same result. On phone is a little better. live channels work but on most other device even smart tv it fail.
