Surprising that Altis was a 2023 Model. Still pretty new car. Maybe Japs car maker are cutting cost to defend their market share. In fact the last 2 years, Many Jap cars maker lag way behind of Tiong cars. I can see more and more Tiong cars on the roads.
Won't be surprised if 154th was instructed to write left right up down centre whenever there's an ICE fire in their push for their EV mandate.

Just like how every crime reported seems to be committed by sinkies.

  • COE prices high, so people anyhow renew and skip maintenance. End up driving fire hazard on wheels.

**2. Hot Weather + Stop-Start Traffic

  • SG weather humidity sibeh jialat + rain acid. Engine bay becomes sauna, and parts wear out faster.
  • Stop-start traffic = engine idle until pengsan. Overheat, then kaboom.

**3. Aftermarket Mods

  • Cheap subwoofers, dashcams, or LED lights. Wiring anyhow connect, short-circuit, then fireworks show.
  • Ah beng workshops anyhow install, no safety checks. End up rojak wiring = fire risk.

**4. Poor Maintenance

  • Skip servicing to save $$$. Engine oil leak, fuel lines crack, exhaust rust – all accidents waiting to happen.

Cause china is the main exporter for spare parts. U buy Japanese car...how many parts in a Japanese car has spare parts made in Tiong??

So bro, don’t anyhow kacau EVs lah. Next time you see ICE fire, blame the real suspects: poor maintenance, hot weather, or that siao lang who installed a subwoofer in his 1998 Honda Civic. 🔥🚗
Edmw always say EV car very dangerous will catch fire.
But when ICE car catch fire, got many many explanations. :s13:
