Interested to know too so that I know how much cash I can withdraw from CPF.

Should do shielding ah?

Another forumer provided some estimations .

Shielding : CPF says they are aware but did not do anything. I rather they give members the option to choose which account to withdraw from (eg withdrawal from OA first instead of SA) instead of letting members go play shielding .

This will never work. You never see how many people whack govt because they saw elderly still working or homeless without fact checking first?

Many people will abuse it as they know govt will always help the poor, at the expense of tax payers
Certain facebook pages and activists are like that, they see any elderly still working or homeless, they whack govt. Even if the elderly themselves say their children tell them to stop work and stay at home, it doesn't matter, govt still get whack.

There's some netizens who argue that they can take care of themselves after 55, so govt should just let them withdraw everything from cpf. But they never ask themselves, if after working for about 30 years, if they haven't saved enough on their own or built up their financial assets, what makes them think that they're qualified to become a greater success if they have some tens of thousands from their cpf? They're delusional, to say the least.
