i find that after i win a big win, i always style drift to something totally different which i think is how i should be trading but looking back, im just doing stupid trades which is not in my original system.
AudJpy is currently on downtrend and PA just closed below a few support zones and ema 200. Im looking to short AudJpy and GbpJpy when my candle refreshes![]()
Let me share with you a story.
I've a friend who only specialized in pin head setup.
For those who don't know pin heads, they are shooting star and hanging man candlestick formation.
He only enters when he sees a pin head and by just doing this alone, he's able to sustain a reasonable good lifestyle.
Pin heads have a 75% follow through rate, meaning if you trade pin heads, you have a 75% success rate.
I can't believe I'm sharing this strategy, but this strategy was made known to me by a friend when I was still green, so I think it's fair to pass this to others who are serious in learning.
You may think this strategy is too simple, but the most effective startegies are the simple ones.

Surprising move form a swing trader considering strong support at 94.1
You have to focus on 1 setup at a time.
For swing trading, accuracy is very important.
So you can't afford to take any setup that comes along.
You have to be patience and wait for YOUR setup.
The problem with newbies is greed. They want to enter all setups. This cause them to be confused and lead to poor decision making.
Start with 1 setup at a time. When you become master in that, then move to the next.
Dun style drift. Stick to one working system.
Sounds simple, but many people dun follow.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful advice Alex! Will keep a close lookout for pinheads.
hi, to add on, those pinheads, with a extreme parabolic spike before, exceptionally good, since they typically represent a blowoff top or bottom, however the next stick needs to break the low of the pinhead if we want to enter, but personally i look for the inside stick, then look for the next stick after the inside stick to close below the low of the inside stick for more confirmation to play these types of setup.
Remember the elephant bathing. Dun enter the trade when the elephant puts one leg in. There is still 3 more legs. You'll get splashed out when the whole body goes in. The bull/bear trap will stop you out.
yep, thats why i try to feel for the counter trend momentum, or i wait for the markets to calm down then enter, when i see momentum again.
Yeah dun see star immediately enter sure see star.
I also wait for retracement to enter but sometimes it doesn't retrace so much then boom it chiong and I get left our.
Not only EP is frustrating, I find when to TP and SL equally frustrating.
TP too late or SL too early is the worst
Edit: just remember SL too late is actually the worst mistake a trader can make... Lol
