Anybody made Zeiss lens at JB Mid Valley before?

I made hoya myopia lense for my son.....actually orth-k contact lenses is very effective in controlling myopia. But my son is not ready for it

Is it much cheaper than SG? It's about $550 to $600 in Singapore.

Hoya I did for my youngest son was about $550. So far so good as he is using atropine every night before he zzz and having more than 1.5 hrs of outdoor everyday + weekly badminton lesson + weekly 2 hrs swimming. And not academic driven. Myopia (touch wood) has not been increased for a year.

Previously my other 2 kids had atropine but no outdoor n did more homework at home. That was why myopia was not under controlled.

Made a pair at the mall. Cheaper than my older made-in-Singapore pair or spectacles.

They are both expensive pairs of spectacles, but the cost savings is significant.

Bought from seen at JBCC no need to go mid valley


If want to do in Singapore and want cheap, can consider pentax lens. It's the sister brand of hoya and uses the same coat. I don't feel any difference.

I'm a fan of Lindberg and always on the lookout for good deals. Which series are you looking for? If it's the Horn series, it's only available at Mid Valley, but very limited selections. Other series like n.o.w and Acetanium can also be found there, though the variety is quite limited. Berlian at KSL may not carry much, and I haven’t seen any Lindberg frames in City Square optical shops.
