when i query them they confirmed already upgraded computer, router and cables to 10gbps port capable but still same same....

the sales say the wifi router comes with wifi 7 and have 2 x 10 gbps port, 1 for the wan connection from the modem/ont and 1 for watever use we have but the rest of the ports are 2.5gbps.

i dont know leh.... anyway i think my mobile dont support wifi 7...

Started with M1's original fibre at 100mbps and now they'd upped it to 1Gbps at the same $29.90 price.

i am still on the same set of Ubiquiti Wireless APs that I had installed in my house 8yrs ago.

Nearly maintenance free after so many years. Except the occasional firmware upgrade.

Same here. I just upgraded to 10G due to recontact. Not going to change out the Ubiquiti wireless.

Not using the router the isp gives either. Bought one with 10G, waiting for it to come.

If you only use wifi at home, you get 20gbps also no difference. Your wifi is limited by your router. My wifi 7 max also 1gbps max

Ur speed is only as fast as ur endpoints and ur routers.

having 10gbps does jack shiet if ur endpoints are shiet and u are using an el cheapo run of the mill router that looks more like a dumb octopus than a proper router/WAP from a decent company - Aruba, Cisco, Ubiquiti (at the bare minimum).

there are idiots who upgrade home broadband speed but using laptops from 10yrs ago and shietty consumer grade routers that looks like some octopus with 8 antennas that they'd gotten either free from the ISP or some store that sells it for like $300 apiece. Then keep insisting that they'd paid money for speed boost and they get nothing.

know what you'd paid for and ensure your end to end is all optimised properly. Else it's like giving a Lambo to a shiet kiasee driver who drives with the steering wheel glued to their chest.
