Altis is a good car. I owned one. Low maintenance. Just that i think that selling price is a bit high. New version got auto cruise control and paddle shifters?

From BM? Forget it... they will never include such stuff.

The Elegance model has paddle shifters, but no cruise control

Yeah.. can’t go too wrong with this. Spacious, good resale value, low maintenance... most importantly a tanker which you can whack.
Can you explain the description of "tanker" , what are you trying to imply?
Altis is a tanker ?

Resale value is not depicted by just car model, COE, OMV, PARF all plays a part.

Low maintenance is dependent on the mileage, if you use 80K KM a year, you'll not see low maintenance.

My vios maintenance very low also, cos I service once every 10 months :s13:

Ask those altis owners who bought their ride at 120k couple of yrs ago, see how much they r getting today? There r lots of myths abt this car that really need to be exposed

Me lor. Paid 120 6 years ago. Current trade in value is between 35-37.5k which is what is being quoted. C&C quoted me 35 (not include overtrade yet, PI quotes me 37.5) If you push the SE, they will increase one. Looking at the used car listings in SG Car mart, should be able to go to 40.

One thing about this car is that maintenance is cheap. One of my ignition coil spoilt, managed to buy from stockist and change. Suspension spoilt while under warrant by BM, so made them change too. This one had to bang table.

Below $40k is very low. Those who bought 2yrs ago also prepare to lose lots of money if they r selling now. Don't know y got ppl keep telling those others Toyota resale value good.

Maybe in other countries but not in sg la

Workhorse...Honda and Nissan as well.. you don’t see ppl renew Mazda on the road. Reasons very obvious right? Parts and maintenance are lower.

Rubbiah talk. Ofcourse lose lots of money if you sell now in this market. Easy, go visit sgcarmart or ask dealers there which jap car resale value good and which they prefer to take in. Talk here useless. Lol.

Losing money is inevitable. Just got to compare a used car price to a new car. Sad truth.
