ANYONE HAS A S3 HANGING PROBLEM?

Is this the reason why their svc center is so damn crowded? I went ytd to service the headphone jack prob on my phone and the crowd inside their svc center was crazy ..

can we just go samsung sc and ask them to change the motherboard instead ..
coz the phone keep hanging is not an opition for us

hopefully jeallybean 4.1.2 its really the main caused of this symptom,

eventhough some bro's here succesfully solving the issue simply by change
mobo to samsung service centre, but hopefully next update which is 4.1.3 will solved all hang issue, sudden death issue for all S3 user here

i got my hanging issue resolved by going to the service center, where they downgraded 4.1.2 to 4.1.1. Previously was hanging every few minutes ~ few hrs. Now so far so good after the downgrade.

The service staff said s3 got issue with 4.1.2

btw i think i know the prob alrdy. guys when you are on data disable your wifi from your device & if you are connected to wifi disable your data. device might not hang/freeze, for mine currently ok but you all i not sure, do try it might help.

Mine sent in but not sure how they resolve my problm. Very disappointed with them. They should provide such option on the spot. I have to wipe off everything and that day Samsung was really packed. It was a Thursday noon

when you receive back your device, try connect to wifi and dont off data. if still freeze/hang, thats the prob.

the problem is fixed in latest UK software, just that Singapore is not updated yet.

btw, downgrading to 4.1.1 is bad because it doesn't include sudden death fix.

Well, i read tat forum & install the app called Dummy file generator but the freeze will appear but seldom. so the app will not help 100% but 80%, hope the latest firmware to fix the bug comes to sg quick.

My friend working in starhub told me they received numerous hang complaints for the s3 non LTE model for hanging

More than 5 days I yet to receive my S3 back. That day when I was there, there are 21 counters opened for customer service

just received OTA for updated MC1 rom. Hopefully this fixes the freezing issue.
