ANYONE HAS A S3 HANGING PROBLEM?

More than 5 days I yet to receive my S3 back. That day when I was there, there are 21 counters opened for customer service

I sent in last sat, haven receive SMS to collect

just got call from samsung tell me my phone is ready for collection.
they told me they replaced the screen
wtf???

got my phone. now smooth smooth liao.
they really replaced the LCD screen and updated my base to XXEMC2.
used dummy file generator over night and no freeze, manage to write all memory blocks.

I bought my S3 in June 2012, non-LTE model... never hung on me... I'm also on 4.1.2... they rolled out the update this week I think... I did it OTA... don't see a difference though... same smooth OS...

I went my to the service center as i was experincing hanging on daily basis, they downgrade my version to 4.11 from 4.12 when i did the upgrade earlier. Can i ask what is the latest version, as i got the notification for the OTA. Is this Update the latest version over the current?

if you update, your version will be bumped up to 4.1.2

the latest update seems to have solved the hanging problem

The affected chip with fm rev:
Type:VTUO00M
FwRev: 0xf1

u can download a free app: "eMMC check" through Google play store. My wife also having the affected chip but so far she don't encounter the SDS yet.

can those who went to the SSC and getting the mobo replaced update what's the type and the firmware after the changed?

Sent my non LTE set in due to the constant hanging now, the counter lady recognised it as the first batch. Seems this problem affects the first batch of user.

My gallery suddenly hang.. keep on cannot access

found the root cause.. hang cause by SD card..
remove it and it working well.. no more hang
