Oh ya, have any idea of the enrollment results..? is it Mid Nov..?

result should be out either end Nov or early Dec according to their 1 mth notice b4 sch start .

from what i know RMIT only offered Bachelor of Business (Management).

I applied for RMIT Accountancy and business management for jan 2011 intake =)

maybe we will be fellow classmates =) haha.

RMIT Accountancy or business management better? better in a sense that it has a wide range of career prospects, etc... i wish to work for a bank next time

oh btw, RMIT Accountancy 1st yr FT then 2nd/3rd yr PT right? then for the certificate that we will be receiving when we graduate right, will it state full time or part time? any kind souls willing to tell me?

i am very confused whether RMIT- Accountancy is CONSIDERED full time or part time -.-

i think we will be able to receive the confirmation by end of November or earlier... that's what the SIM student helpdesk peeps said. ^^

if u wanna work in bank i feel mgmt is better.
u can consider banking n fin from UOL too

Sorry for the late reply and hi to my soon-to-be class/coursemate

To clear your doubts, Accountancy is more like a specialising course since the modules covered were meant to transform us into an undergraduated accountant after 3 years. It have a unique structure on the study - First Year = Full Time and subsquence years to be Part Time and don't worry about the Degree you are receving as it will only show RMIT BSc (course name) as the same as those who done it on campus.

Business Management are towards a hybrid course - meaning you will covered everything (Human Resource/Marketing/Accountancy/Management/etc) and you will major in one of the selection at either year 2 or 3 but you won't really go in-depth.

If you are keen on having a career over in banks upon graduated, I would recommend you to either take up UOL, Banking & Finance OR RMIT, Econimics & Finance since these are towards the bank/finance related.

I was told that the confirmation letter only be sent out around late Nov/ early Dec too but I hope to have them received soon

Won't jiala >_< to be frank, I thought they were saying either late Nov or early Dec so I was pretty surprised to get it so early but yet I am glad.

jus recieved it today for accountancy.

now i have to decide between business study from Loughborough(PSB) or this degree.

If i choose this acc from RMIT means i have to stop work for a yr.
Also have to travel.

PSB means i don't need to stop work as is Part time 3yrs also 5min walk from my hse LOL.

headache man.
