If you spend $388 within first 30 days, you get 88 optimum$. You can choose to redeem or accumulate the bonus Optimum$ for future redemption under the ANZ Optimum Rebate Programme. Redemption can be done in multiples of $50. (1 optimum$ -> $1 )

For the platinum card spend $388 within first 30 days and get 2,600 Rewards Points (can be redeemed for $50)

If get approved, check when is the next time you need to select the category. For me I sign up in Apr, only need to select category in Sep. The category of the second quarter will be as first quarter of new sign up. For your case not sure if Jul to Sep will be consisdered first quarter or second quarter

I believe "quarter' is the same for everyone no matter when you start. It's always 1-3,4-6,7-9,10-12. No? When you first sign up, the quarter that your card is approved will automatically select the choice of your rebate, but from next quarter onwards, you need to select it manually. So if your card is approved in June. You still need to select it by 25th for the 3rd quarter (7-9).

If you read the terms and condition. It is as what I posted. What I mean is no need select cat for 2nd quarter from card approval date
