effective immediately for the calendar quarter. If you don't request to change category, the same 1st quarter category will be brought over to the 2nd quarter (Just for the second quarter after card sign up). Can also request to change category for 2nd quarter, at least 5 days before the 2nd quarter. 3rd quarter and beyond, must go select categoryat least 5 days before the start of the quarter.

generally, hotel bookings will be considered under "leisure" if you book the room directly from the hotel website.

for me, almost all my bookings are thru 3rd party travel websites like zuji, expedia and agoda. I will only book the room directly from the hotel website if there is a good promotion going on.

Called in today and they waived my annual fee. However, they required me to pay in full amount first, then they will credit the annual fee back... This is so sian, I don't remember I did this for my travel card.
