Yeah, I ignore that promotion. My ANZ optimum card stays in the drawer for next 6 months as I use my CIMB card for the $25 a month promotion.

From what I heard from the promotor, the 80k requirement is for online applications. Roadshow one is much more relaxed

I find it innovative and novel. Timestamp is seems more neutral than DBS' spinning the wheel - you always have a suspicion that the thing is rigged.

No singtel bill payment through their app or website will qualify for optimum $. What was the bill amount? The amount could be too low. For example if you pay $99, you get 90 cents. If that is the only transaction for the month, then again round down and you get 0 optimum $.

I did specify singtel mybill in my original post. I had that and CSO said does not qualify. And I know the rounding down of optimum card.

So how now, what to use to round up for optimum$?

Optimum$ now visible on website, redemption process still "offline"

I logged in to the ANZ website and I now see a tab for "Optimum$" next to Summary, and Account History.

It shows

Available Optimum$
Optimum$ to Expire date
and a Optimum$ summary - last statement, Optimum$ redeemed, Optimum$ earned, and Optimum$ adjusted

There are also 2 links to "Choose your cash rebate category" and a redeem button.

Unfortunately for now both those pages link to the old "offline" request pages. That is, they're not in any way tied to the account after a secure log-in. One has to put in name, NRIC, etc. details, increasing the amount of work, room for error, delay in processing, and general uncertainty. IMHO, this is a really poor part of the choosing category and Optimum$ redemption process from ANZ. But anyway.
