i called in like 5-7 times since Nov 5. each time telling them my online application reference number, they still no action. i dunoe what's up w them man!

their cust hotline, i can't get thru most of the time.

Apparently, will be faster if u do it via roadshow where u have a hungry sales rep helping u expedite to earn his/her commission or at least a direct line to voice your concerns.

On a sidenote, some of u commented that u can view the optimum points online via ANZ digital banking. Its not true. U can view the transactions and manually calculate it yourself but the online site is not equipped yet to calculate the optimum points automatically.

i called in last wed to ask for replacement of my posb everyday card, yesterday received liao. not bad considering got xmas eve, xmas and long weekend in between.

ANZ took close to 2 months just to process one credit card application?! absurd.

I applied for paperless statement, can view and download the paperless statement from ANZ digital banking. The optimum$ is stated in the paperless statement.

Hey, the paperless statement... is that real time (at least 1-5 days delay for merchants to post transactions) or available only monthly (month end)?

available at end of statement month, it is just the digital form of the physical statement. Optimum$ earned in the month is rounded down to nearest optimum$ and awarded at end of statement month anyway.

anz probably has the worst customer service. last week, i had to call their hotline several times (even past midnight and early in the morning) and be put on hold for 20 to 30 minutes each time before i could finally reach a human being.

when you apply for a card and submit your cpf contribution history online, they can never find it and make you submit proof of income again, but not without a take-it-or-leave attitude. (the same applies to citibank sans the attitude.) i think they enjoy making their customers jump through hoops to get what they need.

this card "shopping" category very jialat.. alot of my transaction not consider shopping;... spent so much only got 1% :S:S

Eu yen seng not consider shopping, groupon not consider shopping, buy handphone in normal HP retailer shop not shopping (not singtel/starhub type of shops).

My last try on a PC bought in funan shops. see will it consider shopping or not..

just received an SMS from ANZ saying that if you spend SGD100 on a single receipt, you can SMS a format back to ANZ and stand a chance to receive up to SGD300.

just curious if this is on top of the 5% rebate I'm getting?

I used it in prada when I was in italy and got the rebates. However, rebates were not given for my watch purchases in Fossil (who also sold bags) coz they categorised under jewellery and watches. I think the system is very clever one. They don't only go by merchant code, they even differentiate different merchandise in the same shop.

I got a few $20, received sms saying pending bank's validation, u won't know whether u are the 1st 500, dunno when can get the cash back from the t&c either. So, I did not chiong for the $300, only made a few transactions that made my total points reach block of 5000 miles then redeemed put back to drawer already.
