Once again, let's bear in mind that those with Apple Care+ are entitled to a free battery replacement. :)

Guess my next battery replacement might be a long time from now as all my iPhones (7 Plus, X and Xs Max) are at 100%.

I changed my 7 Plus few months back, but will keep an eye on my X and Xs Max. ;)

My 7 Plus whole unit was replaced in August and X's battery in early October, hence still 100%. But even though I've just got the XS Max not long back, my X is still in use and charged daily, so I presume should drop to 99% soon.

hey, I missed the 31 Dec 2018 deadline due to being overseas.
Do you think I could still walk into Apple store and ask them to make an exception for me for a battery change at the $38 price ?

If you missed it, it’s your problem. Apple would not entertain any exceptions, else everyone would jump at it.

Hi, if I’m OK to pay $99, would Apple/service centres change my XS batter, EVEN though it’s in good health > 85%?

Go to Apple orchard is the best. The rest are garbage.

85% is quite bad already. I 91% also change. Can feel a noticeable difference

80-85% capacity won't really feel any difference in battery life if you charge your phone daily and go about your normal usage pattern. Just have to be more prudent with your settings
