Those with “Performance management applied.” should change battery.

If you have “Peak performance capability” then no point changing for now

Performance management applied
When the performance management features have been applied, you'll see this message:
This iPhone has experienced an unexpected shutdown because the battery was unable to deliver the necessary peak power. Performance management has been applied to help prevent this from happening again. Disable…

just sharing some tips on battery life. I changed my iPhone 6s battery July 2018.

1) don't leave the battery charge overnight
2) once in a while drain the battery to less than 30% then only charge the phone. do not constantly 50-60% charge. try not to, when step in the car and then start to charge the phone. unless no choice, otherwise minimise these habits, and your battery should last long

I reserved $38 battery replacement at ALab, Plaza Singapura. Booked appointment at 1340 today. Got a queue number and waited about 15mins for my turn. At 1500, I received sms to collect. So far so good.

I have a friend who follow that routine but lost his phone 😄

Here is more simple:
1) charge anytime, can charge overnight too
2) when battery health goes to 85% or is dead, go to apple and pay $xx to change battery.

At the moment, it displayed 100%. Think need a few more rounds of charging cycles then can see. But so far so good. The battery is at 86% when I sent in. One thing to highlight is have to remove the Screen protector. I didn’t ask why.

same. i used since oct. my battery is at 97%.
i was shocked when i saw it.

but my friend iphone X was at 90% after 1 year.
so i guess its average 10%/year.

Depends on your usage. I bought my X on second day of launch (Nov 4) and have been using wireless charging daily and playing pokemon go as well. Moderate usage for me until I went for the battery replacement 3 days before warranty expires (Nov 1). At that time the battery capacity was at 95%.

After that continued to use my X until I bought a XS Max a mth back, but continuing to use it alongside the Max. My X now is still at 100%.

1 thing I was disappointed was that I registered both my iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 Plus before 31st December 2018 and received 2 sms confirmation and booking reference number.

I also booked a time slot for both phone for the same time and date with the given number (2 separate booking reference number for 2’phones).

On actual day, when I went down, I was told that only the iPhone 6s had record but not the iPhone 7 Plus in A.Lab system. Had to pay 68 in the end to replace the iPhone 7 Plus battery.

They cite reason being maybe I have the wrong imei number but I entered the imei number the same way I did for the iPhone 6S which was from the Apple account site.

Apple guy said the same but I am not quite sure why these batteries would not like to stay plugged in. Seems weird, plus I'm sure the vast majority of people need to charge overnight so even if this is somehow bad I don't think that 95% really have a choice...

The good news is that there are no issues with getting batteries replaced virtually on the spot at the Apple Store. 10 mins to get a tech, quick chat and diagnostics on the phone, then the phone goes "backstage" and you are told to come back in an hour or so. Easy, albeit at $69 nowadays...

$69 is a very fair price to pay esp when you can do it fuss free without appointment at Apple Store Orchard

last year, it was mentioned that those with applecare+ can get free 1 time battery replacement including this year 2019, so NO need rush last december.

today, went there and said phone with applecare+ still need go thru diagnostics and if no issue found then need pay $69 /$99
