Guys someone pls HELP me.

I recently purchased the Amazon Fire Stick 4K for access to the APPLE TV app, as I got an iPhone in Dec with free Apple TV+ sub for 1 year. I didn’t realise the Apple TV app doesn’t work on fire stick in sg, even though it works on my friend’s Roku!! This is highly disappointing, esp because of waste $$$ .

Has anyone been able to run Apple TV on fire stick 4K here in Singapore? I even tried expressVPN but the Apple app is very smart and Is still aware that I’m in Singapore. This effectively makes my fire stick a DUD because I already have all the other apps on my 2015 Samsung tv..

Any advices Bros? TIA.

It runs on mine and I can watch the Apple shows such as The Morning Show, Mythic Quest. When the app starts, you sign on using your appleID and password. (Edited - need a US address regn for your stick.)

Only restriction is that you can buy or subscribe to services on the Stick, you have to buy on your iphone or ipad which then gets added to your itunes library. After this, you can watch it on AFTV4K stick.

A new Apple TV is inevitable. Read online that just yesterday Target (US) listing new Apple devices online including a new Apple TV.

Guess something is coming soon. Will wait out. But sadly I dun think it addresses the lack of 4K YouTube.

Alongside YouTube 4K, I also hope that they will be willing to approve the usage of VPN apps on the TV App Store.

Also what's the firmware in your stick? 6.2.6.8? Mine is stuck at 6.2.6.5 and apple TV need firmware update before it can be used....

Yes, I am using a US address for AFTV4K but local cc. My firmware is 6.2.6.8 as it auto updated. Just keep doing manual update check daily to see if you can speed it up.

Sorry, my mistake, you can't turn of location in AFTV4K but to enter a US zip code. I was getting the AppleTV and AFTV4K settings mixed up

I have only been using Android boxes and happy with it. Just wondering if there is any advantage to shifting to AppleTV for movie and media streaming.
