Heads up.
Updating to the newly release TVOS 9.2 will remove KODI.
That's for sure.

But you can always sideload it back again after the OS update.

finally got the box and tried myself...

ATV and WD My Cloud 6TB are wired to Time Capsule
Infuse connects via SMB
3TB Movie folder, Infuse takes about 7s to enter, acceptable.
Playback starts quite fast, spin around twice on 1080p files.
both ATV and NAS are warm only during the playback.

got 2nd ATV4 in bedroom because of infuse... love it.
keep filling 6TB NAS...

Anyone who has installed KODI, where did you all get your USB C cables from? Was thinking of getting one from carousell but scared quality chui

Same la. Can buy from sim lim square also. About $6-10. Seriously we only use it a few times so not a major concern

Haha thanks. Because I see online they talk about those cheap USB C cables frying devices, a bit scared. For such short use I think should be ok.

Hmm. Frying devices? If u connect from MacBook to Apple TV, the voltage is only 5V. Maybe some expert can share their views.
