Singtel FAQ page said NumberShare is only supported on Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS+Cellular) purchased in Singapore. Will have to see if AW LTE Japan/Australia sets are supported.

Although its recommended to buy local sets to ensure full support, there is a huge chance that those bought in japan/australia are also supported considering its the same SKU..

HWZ has posted on the details this morning, only lack the official test... we shall wait and see.. :D

So 42mm is 648+88 for Apple Care. It still more exp then buying overseas. If overseas sku is same, I guess getting it overseas is more worth it

if happen to travel to japan or aussie, then okay la.

if not .. the plane ticket to either country .. erm ...

buy from airport save gst lor

Ya that’s if you have the luxury.

N buy from airport to save GST if you only going to use it outside of Singapore, by bringing it back and u don’t plan to declare and continue to advertise it, you are just opening yourself to scrutiny

I notice that you tend to be a little negative when people mention they travel to overseas for holiday and buy an Apple Watch. Whats up with that?

Not negative, but rather talking about economics and logic. It will of course be cheaper to buy it overseas provided you are already planning to go there or have someone buy for you. But are you purposely going to fly overseas just to buy it? That’s my point.

That’s if you have the luxury of doing that.

I got a plan trip to Japan end next month so yeah.. will get it there
By then I guess those who have got it previously can test it out whether it works or not, but should work since same sku.

6. Only Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS+Cellular) purchased from Singapore are supported by NumberShare.
