Hello everyone.

I saw this news today and I am very keen. I don’t have AW3 now.

However I am still on old 3G 12GB plan.

Do u think for me to go for NumberShare?

It’s up to you? Nobody can decide how you use your phone and watch?

Hi keithster,

NumberShare is available as an add-on service for all Singtel Postpaid Mobile customers who have subscribed to a Combo Mobile Plan, SIM Only Plan or MobileShare Supplementary Plan with 4G ClearVoice. NumberShare can only be activated on Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS+Cellular) and newer models.

EasyMobile, Prepaid and Multi-SIM customers are not eligible for a NumberShare subscription.

Hi renfred89 and PetPet,

There is a one-time activation fee of $10.70 that allows provisioning of eSIM on the Apple Watch.

A re-activation fee is applicable for the provisioning of new eSIM in the event that you lose, replace or damage your Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS+Cellular).

If i'm not wrong, its only a one time charge to set up an eSIM profile associated with the watch at network level. Comparing to gear s3 LTE, i don't recall an additional charge for it if the watch is replaced.

May be wrong, perhaps Singtel can verify?

Non-SG Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular)

Hi all,

You are encouraged to get the Apple Watch Series 3 (GP + Cellular) from Singapore. For watches purchased in other countries, please refer to the link below to check if the watch model is supported.

https://www.apple.com/watch/cellular/

I got a plan trip to Japan end next month so yeah.. will get it there
By then I guess those who have got it previously can test it out whether it works or not, but should work since same sku.

Ya how is apple care if we hoot one from japan ? Does it support sg applec care and for its 4g it should support I bet

ST dont support non-local AW3 cellular.. wtf

I'm currently on the multi-sim VAS.
If I'm to remove it for NumberShare

Is there anyway I could share my data from my main line together with my iPad and Apple Watch?

Hi PetPet,

You can consider signing up for MobileShare. The MobileShare SIM card can be placed in your iPad cellular model.

Although its recommended to buy local sets to ensure full support, there is a huge chance that those bought in japan/australia are also supported considering its the same SKU..

Very good news to all! At least for now we know with affirmation that
1. The SKUs that will be adopted in SG (pheew ... those purchase in Aust and JP are safe).
2. The pricing scheme is out. Nice of them to throw in 3 months free trial

Well, some uncertainty
1. When is Starhub releasing their plans?

Hi all,

If you have bought or planning to buy an Apple Watch Series (GPS + Cellular model) from overseas, kindly check this link from Apple on the network compatibility.

https://www.apple.com/sg/watch/cellular/

IMO, I think the statement above is rather obvious. Just need to make sure the LTE band is being supported and the SKU matches. Regardless where you buy the AW3 from.

Just my personal views hor! :s13::s13::s13:

Wondering what are the subscription plans too.
Hi tec_geek,

There is only one subscription plan for the Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) on SingTel's network - NumberShare.

NumberShare is an add-on service that allows iPhone users to share the same mobile number, data and talktime as your mobile plan on an Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS+Cellular). With NumberShare, you can make or receive calls and access the Internet on your Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS+Cellular) over 4G connection, even when your iPhone is not nearby or powered on. You can also get an additional 0.3GB data per month on your main mobile line.

We will be sharing more details on NumberShare subscription soon. Please stay tuned for latest updates.
