who is this Apple Support staff in Singapore? you called them?

I bought AC after the purchase of my watch and it was noted that the warranty is international. Just confuse with the answers.

thanks

When I called the Singapore AppleCare+ hotline, the one who answered had an Australian accent.

Two of my colleagues using it without SP nor cases. We checked and so far no scratches. I even see them wipe the screen most of the time with tissue, without even removing dusts first. So should be ok on normal use.

Apply watch worth to buy ??? Any advice???

Do you wear a watch and wanna a chance of scenery by trying out smart watches? If you don't have a habit of putting on a watch everyday this may not be for you.

I used to wear a mechanical watch that doesn't have a date function. It's leychey to dig out the phone from the jeans pocket when you're tearing parking coupons. That's one reason.

Second I jog regularly and would like to understand my heart rate. Compared to other smart watches, apple watch is the most normal looking. It doesn't scream nerd alert. I'm also a bit of a watch enthusiast so I appreciate apple watch's premium materials and design. The strap is an easy way to change the look of the watch.

For a frequent traveler I guess it's cool that the watch will auto adjust for time zone. And for busy executive it's nice to be reminded of all your appointments. Still, nothing your phone can't do. It's really wearing a much smaller phone so you may glance at info you need instead of whipping it out of your pockets.

Having said that... The apps are useless. It's not a wear and forget, you've to charge it every night. For some reason the hepatic alerts are really soft for me. Ultimately there is very little you can do with it - can't read can't reply much can't play games can't interact with it.

Like I said buy only if you want to wear a watch.

The Ion-X glass is said to be 5 times stronger than regular glass and there are reports saying that this glass doesn't scratch easily under normal wear. But if u're very particular about this, go for the stainless steel Watch instead for its sapphire crystal.

Thanks for the info. I'm not really particular on that just wanted to understand base on the users experience here, how easy can the screen get scratch.

I still prefer sport version for 2 reasons, 1. Light weight 2. Cost.
I don't think I will wear SS version for exercise but sport version will be just nice. SS version is more like a dress watch to me which has a class look but Sport version is really for sport which is what I need.

Btw, had just placed order for 1. Now can't wait for the delivery. :s12:

Initially I also was choosing between the Sports and SS Watch but in the end chose the SS one as I still prefer watches to have sapphire crystal and is still lightweight to me and I wear mine in all occasions. By the way mine's the SS with black sport band so it's like a hybrid of a dress watch and also a sports watch.

I find the aluminium sports version a bit too light though.

I'm thinking whether to get AppleCare for my Apple Watch. Any opinions? Today is my last day to get it.

Both on Milanese?

No, too expensive...hahahaha one 42mm on Milanese and the other is also 42mm stainless steel with sports band.

Just heard someone commented that we should not wear these often coz of radiation.

No such thing as if it's true. We also shouldn't carry our phones at all.

Actually I prefer the sports band as I perspire a lot so it's the best option. I just got another black sports band as a spare.

Anyone excited about new Watch Straps Apple is going to announce later? Going by reports, seems like only new colors for sport band. Hopefully Apple will surprise us with more straps other than sport band!

Good enough for me at least, as I only prefer the sports band. Unless Apple has other less-expensive alternatives, the sports band is the way to go!

Actually quite interested in the red and 'nude' colours. :s13:
