Hi all,

For iphone x, sg selling applecare + for s$368 and USA selling for us$199. The savings is nearly s$100!

Can we buy from usa website n apply to our sg phone ?

Well, you can try from the US website to purchase. If it doesn't work, I guess you will then have to buy from SG website:

if u are physically in a US's store u shld be able to buy apple care+ where thr staff will inspect ur ip on the spot. i have done this in US apple store where i bought my apple wtach in sg but the apple care+ is bought in US.

AppleCare+ for iPhone extends your coverage to two years from the original purchase date of your iPhone and adds up to two incidents of accidental damage coverage, each subject to a service fee of S$42 for screen damage, or S$148 for any other damage.

148 for other damage ? Wat other damages ? Glass Screen crack? Wat else ?
I am also thinking whether worth it to buy applecare or jus go ah Beng shop repair if really spoil

usually the accidental damage is for the screen repair the other type of damage need the genius to determine uncan always tell them the damage such as volume button not sensitive is due to normal usgae and not coz from ur carlessness. like that u domt have to incur the accidental charge.
if genius tell u 1 thing try call their hotline to see if they say otherwise which i encountered before and eventually they replace the set for me.

No, 2 years there is not charges at all if it's hardware issue not due to user damage.

The $148 is IF you break the display, or drop the phone until it's dead and request for a new replacement.

Aka, non user caused issues is all free.

Oic Tks.... Come to think about it; cost of apple care + $148 (if any) = $516

All my phones are changed every 2 yrs for recontract.
I realized the phones nowadays dies (or give major problem) when nearing the 1yr mark. Coincidence or not I don't know. But i had to change the phone at my own cost once cos it just exceeded the 1yr warranty (by a few days). And another was lucky, it died when its just a few more days to 1yr warranty over.
