AppleCare+ for iPhone X

I was told it used to be online diagnostic but that was before we got the apple store here.

When I purchased it at Apple store they say now need to check the phone condition. Which is why that dude who dropped the ipx at the mrt tracks couldn't do so after the incident

Buying AppleCare online only requires diagnostic information to be sent to Apple and once passed, AppleCare will be effective. However when one drops the screen, one still has to pay no matter what.

The poor chap who dropped the phone cracked the glasses can also claim AppleCare if the phone didn’t get so much public attention, assuming it’s still working fine despite cracked glasses..

Just completed the purchase for AppleCare+ online. Quite straight forward.
Key-in the serial number of phone to check for AppleCare+ eligibility. And follow by an email for IOS diagnostic check. Upon passing the check, they will prompt you to buy and follow by payment.

Same $148 which cover accidental damage or water damage for 2 times within 2 years.

if i buy apple care then lets say sell the phone after a year and if i opt for apple care refund, will I get 50% of 368? assuming i ddnt take ant warranty claim for the 1st year

Yes, they do the calculations but you will get around that. Did it for my 7plus

Yes can. My iPhone X is a telco set and I bought AppleCare+ online. They will first do a diagnostic on your phone.

The easiest and fastest way is head down to the Apple Store and buy the AppleCare+

actually not true, the fastest way is over the phone. mine done in 10mins. before Apple's CSO told me about email link to make payment i already paying already.

Actually, fastest way is to do it over the net. No need to wait to speak to CSO.

Go to https://checkcoverage.apple.com/sg/en/
Enter serial number and buy through it.

Just bought Apple care online and it’s hassle free. Don’t need to physically go down to Apple store Orchard . Just download the support Apple app. It will guide you on how to purchase as Long your phone is still eligible to purchase Apple care. Run the diagnostic on safari and pay on safari. Everything done less than 5 min.

Yep thats right. Front screen $48, anything else or more, auto $148. Wah if really drop 3times, I think time to get OtterBox

I will recommend anyone with butter hands to buy other phones not made of glass bah..
