This issue (Heat up / Freeze screen) happened before for iPhone 14 and it took awhile for DBS to update the apps.

I mean last year iPhone 14 launch also got this issue....your apps is DBS latest version but they might not fix it yet.....
Last year quite a number of ppl reports this DBS issue here....

YES, you can purchased Apple Care + on your iPhone even after 60 days and before warranty end. Just walk in and request to buy. You need to send in your phone for them to check and take photos then once it pass their inspections you can purchase the Apple Care +.

If you want an ease of mind & have extra cash to spare, treat it as an insurance premium for your phone.

$0.4-0.45/day (Depending if you have EPP discount or not)

You can get a pro-rated refund for your AC+ if you decide to upgrade/sell/give away your phone midway through your coverage period.

where are you getting your info from my iPhone X used 5yrs FaceID still working fine when I sold it off

My 14PM i bought 4 days before my limited warranty ends

But i refunded after 30 days from ac+ purchase date, so full refund of $369(old price)

Yup, and only Apple can repair them since it requires proprietary software verification required after repairs made.
This is what was shared when my face ID f up.

Only If you referring to defects due to manufacturing hardware.
Before Apple care+ purchased is limited warranty, does not cover accidental damage.

Within this one year limited warranty, if problems like Face ID camera fails or other parts like the USB C port got problem, will repair be free or cost the same if I had bought AC+ within 60 days?
