Today is a good date to get apple care+
2 yrs later will be 24 Sept 24
Lol… heading to Apple Store to get applecare+ now
Do let us know if AC+ starts from your phone activation date or AC+ purchase date. I am considering to buy too but it starts on your AC+ purchase date then maybe can wait out first cuz most probably won't have any issues for early ownership (Hopefully)

Haha lets put this to rest once and for all… its the day you bought the apple care NOT the day you activated it.

Mine is the case as i have the proof of coverage documenting it as ending 24 Sept 2024.

my device (iphone 13pro max) was activated before today.

Here it is...before its updated onto the iphone... iphone screen shot shows date of activation (which is not a bad date actually lol)

applecare+ proof of coverage screenshot shows the end date coverage after purchase at the applestore.

If you still have any proof of purchase via email then something not right liao
U PO from where?

u got from retailers like Lazada/shopee? I remb reading somewhere it will be reflected within 14 days or something

bought from Apple directly through PO. the Genius at MBS was also puzzled and advised me to call in since they can’t do anything at the store.

sidetrack: was at MBS to send in 2018 iPad Pro for repairs since the screen wasn’t showing anything but external screen worked. was expecting a huge repair fee since warranty and AC has long expired but then they checked and saw possible bloated battery. managed to get a replacement device at $139 only. what a relief.

So effectively....

Said. I bought a iphone today 26 Sept 2022. The warranty will end on 25 Sept 2023. Then if i get applecare+ on say 20 Sept 2023. Then my warranty will valid until 19 Sept 2025? So total 3 year warranty??

Am i right?

I thought Applecare+ can only be bought within 60 days of phone activation?

Yes, 1+2 years. Don’t need proof of purchase just ensure your phone pass the diagnostic tests. This is for applecare+ 365.
