if drag till almost 1 yrs then it will extend 2 yrs from the date of the apple care+ purchase date

that’s nice. I did not know that. I almost wanted to get together with the phone when buying from Shopee because it offers a discount for the Apple care+ as add-on deal. So now I can wait till end of the year then buy for two more years of extension.

But you must also realise that AppleCare+ doesn’t only extend warranty, but also provide accidental damage protection that normal warranty doesn’t provide.

so if any accident happen during the one year of free warranty without AppleCare+ you wouldn’t be covered for accidental damage repair

And likely not able to purcahse AppleCare+ anymore too.
