walked into mbs, told them i wanted to buy AC+ beyond 60 days
sat down, the staff did diagnostics and physical checks (for scratches, dents, etc) - chassis, camera module, front, back
staff also ask you if any water or drop damage
was in and out of the store in 15 minutes. no appointment needed
purchased on the spot for 229
warranty expiry september 2026

if you are thinking of getting it soon, especially for launch day buyers, avoid this friday onwards (launch of new devices). you must buy it before your first year warranty is up

So next year before 19 sept must buy la. The problem is able to pass the check test anot.

The specialist mentioned only Singapore set can purchase AC+ in Singapore for beyond 60 days set.

It’s available in Apple Store as long as your iPhone is under warranty. If you still don’t believe can go Apple Store to ask.

Sorry still a little confused. A new iPhone will have standard 1yr warranty. If I buy ac+ together with my new phone, I get additional yr of warranty so total 2 years. Then why if I buy ac+ towards the end of the 1yr warranty, I get additional 2 years instead of one more?

Yes u are right. It’s more worth it to buy Applecare+ nearing the end of the 1 year limited warranty

Sorry. Can explain why? Buy together with phone only one additional year. But towards end of 1yr warranty gets additional 2 years. Why is that so?

The level of coverage for applecare+ is different from the usual 1 year without applecare I think. Like it doesnt cover accident

So for example.. u bought your iPhone 2/10/24. The limited warranty will end on 1/10/24. If u purchase the AppleCare+ around 02/09/24. The warranty will be extended to 01/09/26.

For the battery health. If below 80%, u will get free battery replacement. If u buy it nearing near the end of 1 year. It will probably be around 90%, higher chance of battery replacement compared to if u bought it during the first 60 days

So I bought my phone on 20 Oct 2024. The limited warranty ends 19 Oct 2025. Then I buy my ac+ on 15 Oct 2025 and warranty extended to 14 Oct 2027?
