i don't recall Apple Singapore's AppleCare has monthy plan options.

oh right. guess this is an example of a case where "usually very careful, never drop or damage phone kind" doesn't mean will never happen.

so if one want to delay getting AC+ need to consider this fact

yar the drop timing really lucky... nowadays my bill aso cheap now.. 10 per month contract as compare to almost 60/month...so can use it to buy apple+ and change to new model nex year...

Yup, ever since AppleCare updated its TOS, must buy for peace of mind.
Buy no need use better than not buying and requiring it, which as we know, the cost is exorbitant for repairs.

My phone also dropped accidentally and kena chipped. Sibei sian llst need buy AC. However don’t think can replace front glass as it is still considered cosmetic damage

As long you have AC+, not a problem to replace front glass.

They will tell you scratches all that and chip damage is considered cosmetic damage. Need real cracked glass then can replace front glass

You mentioned front glass, which isn't an issue to request for replacement from my experience.
Housing of iPhone is different then, got to be badly damaged before they are willing to replace, since its likely an entire device replacement as they do not just replace the housing only.

Replacement need pay entire phone $148. Front glass is $42. And they rejected me at the Apple Store saying it’s cosmetic damage. Not sure buy AppleCare for what actually.
