I remb there’s a rule change for iPhone15 onwards.
dunno which is which. Someone mentioned before.
Isn’t it more logical that Apple will reject if more than 1000 cycle counts instead of less than?.
So if apple reject my phone if it is 79% and more than 1000 counts I will accept their reasoning of rejecting as it is too many cycle counts so battery degraded significantly, but now cycle count only 550 and u reject me?
I dont really care about battery conservation when using any iPhones and will charge as and when I feel like doing. And with that I only hit 550 cycles in 2 years. How are we going to hit 1000? Maybe need 4 yrs.
And if really need to hit more than 1000 counts, I suggest Apple to remove battery change under AppleCare+ tnc as no one will hit it with normal usage even if used it for 3 yrs.
And my wife iPhone 16 PM already at 90% liao. Passed her after I got 17pm on 21 Sep.
I go to AppleCare+ site and it only mentioned less than 80% and no where I saw anything about cycle counts. I didn’t read the fine prints in documents though.
Will check with Apple on this. Thanks for the information.
