So C comes here to edmw too?

Nah, she doesn't do much social media. At most go Weverse and Insta for BTS updates or occasional FB.

I'll sometimes tell her what I write here on EDMW/HWZ - Like my saga from 300k to 5 million. I'll occasionally show her some interesting or funny threads, too.

Was love at first sight. Reminds me of my first love. But then found out she bit mental so didn't pursue her. Years later she seduced me. And rest was history. 😭😮💨🫠
Something like this?

Yes, very attracted. I first saw her in a lecture theatre. My buddy noticed her first. She was always searching for a seat at the front row. My buddy called her "the look". Because she was very pretty and stood out.

I started looking out for "the look" every day. She was very pretty indeed. Slim. Big eyes, piercing when look at you. Face like model. Sharp, elegant and classy. Not the cherubic cute face kind. She always had make-up on. Very womanly behaviour, unlike the other female students.

When I went for computer lessons, to my pleasant surprise, "the look" sat besides me. I struck lottery! It turned out her surname was very close to mine. Hence she was sat next to me.

I perspired like mad during computer lessons. Bec she was so damn hot. Kept wiping my sweat with my handkerchief. So embarrassed. She remembered me as the funny guy that kept wiping his sweat.

Soon i got to know "the look". Her bimbo persona drew me in. Always blur. Very womanly. Chatty. Unopinionated. The kind I like. I met her along the corridors often. She always had something to talk to me each time, e.g. told me she did not understand the lecture, asked me if I did. She was more keen to talk to me, than I was to her.

When we had time, we would talk longer. I called her at her hostel, we would talk for 2-3hrs each time. Till today, after marrying her for 25 years, we still have endless things to talk to each other.
Oh yah... You guys called her that based on this song?

Most couples are not love at first sight.

Many chose each other out of compromise in case they couldn't meet another better one.

Years later, and after 2 kids, they grow. apart. They still speak to each other but they don't talk. And get embarrassed when children ask about how they met, because they cannot remember how they could have loved each other.

in life , we always tell people to improve and seek better prospects..

same as relationships.. trust me , meet enough people , you will realise there are many many more funnier , prettier , more handsome , fitter , richer , nicer , sweeter , etc people out there.

now , are you a hypocrite who accept less and this is exactly what you tell your own kids ? or are you an adult who fights for the best only..
Some look at relationships as transactional...while there are those consider love between man & woman the most precious thing that money can't buy (besides great parental love)

There is saying sometimes having many choices actually makes it worst...human are rather susceptible to temptation (or some are out right hypocrites)

You sweat. My hand shook.
Went for course together. I couldn't use the scissors properly cause my hand was shaking non stop. Tbh she's the only woman my hand shook for. But alas, she's married to someone else

This is a very sad existence, to choose each other as a "back up" plan, isn't it?

Imagine spending an entire life with someone you are just compromising to be with. Why marry?

Think that is likely a health issue …better go check up… or not enough salt in body

She's attracted to B grade understated low profile type who doesn't give a damn to chiobu. She doesn't like those very alpha type.

Lol. Why the strange question?

Her parents ran a neighbourhood provision shop. Hard work. Not exactly financially comfortable. Not poor either.
You described her as elegant and classy, so I was wondering if she came from a well to do family and learned how to behave like that from parents

My attractive wife still get invitation from single men to go out for dating / fling.

Glad she is my wife and no one else!

We both fell for each other on our first sight and never look back. She is still as attractive as ever since day one - 20 years ago (she is 43 this year but we only got married when she was 27)

Want a healthy relationship? Please make sure you keeping piak piak with your wife only and at least 2-3 times a week or more. Attractiveness comes in personality and not just the outlook. Also please don't watch porn.

When we met, I was not a well off person but she gave me confidence I can make it big one day. So we are happily married - both of us are semi retired.

Good to read of another pretty wife and a happy ending. We need more of this!

I think my wife was in her early 40s when a young guy approached her at the bus stop, for her number.

She so happy. Told me.

But now, no more haha.

Yes. The first time I met her, I was already attracted to her. The first thing I noticed was her fingers. Very strong and slender looking. She looked like she had a good grip. Helped that there were no calluses, which was a very important criterion for me. Also helped that the life lines depicted good fortune. A good fortune I was hoping to experience firsthand.

As the days passed, the attraction grew stronger. So strong until it finally happened. My palms got a little sweaty (ironic, I know).

For those who are wondering, yes, we are still together today. Till death we won't part.
I was very touched by your love story until you wrote "She looked like she had a good grip"....................................😑

Well, for me this isn't some make up story.

Treat your lifetime partner not just a wife but also as a friend. Communications is the key. Forgiving each other is important. Understanding your partner's needs and vice versa for her too.

Men usually have ego issues more than women. So, don't let your ego overtake you.

After seeing so many of my neighbourhood with so many single uncles and aunties in their 60s and 70s living by themselves, it is a pretty sad state. Having a lifetime partner is very important as loneliness can kill you faster.
