ARKF returns is massive. ARKW is also much higher than ARKK. Which one are you guys vested in?

Don’t just look at historical for an ETF that invest in innovation.

ARKK is like a bit of everything so depends on whether u just want to bet on everything or a more specific area

How to buy like them? Interesting, ARKK is audited by Independent Registered Public Accounting Firm
Tait, Weller & Baker LLP. Strange lei. For the size of the fund, why was it not audited by the big 4?

What do you mean how to buy like them?

Email them and ask?

Bill Gates sold off some of his shares in Berkshire Hathaway. But it seems he did not buy shares of any of the stocks held by ARKK. So he may have a view of the future different from Cathie Wood.

I believe that's coz Bill Gates strategy is wealth protection rather than growth.

The audit for theirs is simple, quite straight forward

They are an actively managed ETF not a passive one. That means they could be buying and selling anytime, multiple times. How to follow? Lol.

I think Bill Gates' strategy does include future growth because I think he invested in nuclear energy. However, at least one of Bill Gates' investments is considered a Bad Idea by ARK Invest.

And several of Berkshire Hathaway's investments are among ARK's Bad Ideas. Maybe that's why Berkshire Hathaway stock has been underperforming the S&P500 index.

It probably cost less than any of the big 4. There's no benefit to ETF unit holders (and ARK Invest) to pay more to one of the big 4 auditors for the branding of being audited by one of the big 4.

just buy the indidivudal stocks that ARKK buy can liao lol

ARK Invest has at least one professional trader on its payroll. Are you claiming you can outperform (i.e. produce higher rate of return than) a professional trader after deducting the TER of 0.75%?

By the time they disclose the e-mail trade, the trade is already done. You might not be in the money like them. They buy low sell high if you follow them blindly you might end up buy high sell low. Market move in nano seconds these days

https://www.etf.com/sections/daily-etf-watch/moonshot-etf-enters-disruptive-space

Curious if anyone has done a study or comparison between the different Disruptive Innovation etfs out there.

ARKK is clearly the more well-covered one, but what makes us think it is the best of the lot? (If I'm not wrong the ER is more expensive if nothing else...)

I think one shouldn’t pay too much attention into ER especially for a high growth counter. And what the ER is should not be the main determinant of what one invest in. Like no point using ER to compare Apple to oranges. ER might be more useful when compare within Apple or oranges.

Regardless you are just betting on a theme.

If you want to bet on a more specific one to possibly get higher returns, then consider the other 4.

But if you are unsure and just wants to bet a bit of everything to become more diversified then just go for ARKK.
