I've been saying for years that the more cyclists there are on the road itself, the safer it will become for everyone concerned.

When we cycle on PCNs, we are endangering other users and ourselves.

Yes agree on this. Weekend cycling with my kids also feel dangerous, some of them r cycle too fast and look like we r the one to pay attention and avoiding them..

thats why go pcn max i go is 25, alot of mixed usage path is dangerous, might have accident cause have to look everywhere

I think to be fair, because roads are too dangerous.

the speed limit is craps npark never really care about it, they themselves speeding (golf car)

The speed limit is there for a reason. Like many have said, its not just experienced riders on the PCN but young kids, elderly, learners etc, so need to create an environment conducive to them. Most retarded is when I see people posting on FB cycling groups about slow riders, families blocking their way. But when questioned, their own speed is actually above 15km/hr which created the issue in the first place

And most importantly, it is to proportionate blame and cover Npark's ass. Ya 15km/hr is slow as heck and many people may not care. But make no mistake that when an accident happens and SHTF, you can be sure that the rider who was over the limit will kena big time should any civil or criminal suit be launched.

Best part is most speeders got cyclometers that recorded their own speeding which will come back and bite them in the ass during an accident

Since Garmin bike computer is so expensive, is it better to buy a $399 waterproof Sony phone to use? Can do everything from measuring speed/distance/time, to uploading statistics, navigating, playing music, taking photos/videos, and making calls.

Screen is also bigger. Only cons is suck too much battery if never put to standby mode or screen sleep.
