If touch wood tube burst at ECP, you just take a cab home?

i rode there so many times and never burst once. so i dont know.

if really burst, i will probably buy from bike shops nearby lor. since i already have tyre lever and air pump.

Never had a need to change tubes on my rides in SG so far (touch wood), where I do have a set of spare tubes and necessary tools for changing tubes on my bikes. But had encountered 2 chain breaks and 1 RD hanger break while riding my MTB in Sg, where I am not equipped to do field repair. End up still have to flag a cab and bring back bike home then do the repairs. :s22::s22::s13::s13::s13:

yar sometimes difficult to work outside...

My friend told me no need to remove wheel if I intent to just stick a 'plaster' to patch the hole. Can do it with the wheel attached.
you think doable?

He tell me just detach tyre and tube. Find and plaster the hole with the tube still hooked to the attached wheel. Then put back the tube and tyre and Inflate. Sounds challenging

yes can, technically, but if youre inner tube is stuck to the tire you cant do it.

you can bring a size 15 spanner w you to remove the screws or change to qr
So you take cab home also? Or you borrow barang barang from other riders?
cab back or if nearby I slowly ride back.

I had tremendous luck on my road bike, never puntured on gp 4000s

Tern c7 stock wheel n tyre nt so good. No quick release also.

Suggest for u to upgrade to kinetic comp wheelset can get 2nd hand cheap $150 to $200 and use schwalbe kojak tyres. Like this more puncture proof. But changing to kinetic comp need buy new rear Cassette

If u don't intend to go fast on c7 then shld be ok haha.

Do you guys bring a spare tube out on your rides?

I just bought a foldie, and my friend recommended that I get a spare tube, tyre tool, pump to bring along rides.

Do ppl on foldies usually bring so much out? If pung cek just take a cab home bah... slowly change at home... is tube burst common on Foldie?

another thing is that I dun have qr for my foldie wheels, which means I need to spend on new skewers if I intend to change tubes Outside.

What are your views on this? Bring all the barang barang out and upgrade to QR skewers? Or save the $$ on cab home so I can slowly change tube at home?
For your scenario, take a cab back is easier. If you are using full size bike then I recommend fixing the puncture cos no cab is going to stop for you
any recommendations for a foldie for me and the missus?
I got dahon and java if you are interested.

Yar figured that cabs avoid ppl with large items, eg wheelchair.

QR skewers only $20. I take cab from ECP home already $12 on normal days liao. $20 seems like good investment!!!
