Buy 2 speed brompton la.

Good for chiongsters like you. ;) And no igh to care about.

As for maintenance, i think it is still manageable. Removal of wheel, sprockets are pretty straightforward but will take some time.

@dilphinus: Which saddle bag you using? Waterproof? How many litres?

It's the topeak mondo pack hydro. Behind can put water bottle too!
They said it is waterproof but I haven't really test it out though.

Can you fit a smart phone inside?

Definitely can.

The main compartment I usually have 2 spare tubes, 2 mini levers, my thick wallet, multi-tool and still have some space at the top.

Small compartment I put my lights and bike computer.

At the back, I'll usually have a water bottle. Sometimes a rain jacket.

But the stuff that are not waterproof, I usually put in ziplock bag.
Personally, I'm skeptical of the waterproof ability because of the zips. They seems to be the normal kind, not the waterproof type.

For saddle bag I mostly don't like because when u install one, ur rear light have to go else where other than under ur butt which is the best place to put one. Even for those that bag that u can hung ur light, they normally affect the light shone angle.

I uses a Cateye saddle rail mounting bracket for fixing a rapid5 rear light under the saddle for my roadie. I also tie a velcro strap style saddle bag under the saddle without interfering with the light.

Cheap John at sambawang allows but u might get puzzled whether did u just bought a used or new bike when u get home. LoL

Normally their excuse would be since I allow test ride don't expect brand sparkling new ^^
