Advice needed for brake levers.

For use on crius foldable bike.
Lightweight is on high priority.
Budget not exceeding 150.
Have considerd litepro ultralite and shimano xt

I'm using shimano xtr brake lever on my foldie. imo, brake lever can't save much weight, important is that there is not free play in the lever and has smooth travel. was using a pair of ridea ultra light levers, not good, too play in the lever.

yeah.. I definitely will go with Shimano over litepro any day, also agree that the weight difference is negligible. Weight weenie would change components like crank, handlebar, seat post, wheelset & etc...

Are xtr levers overkill? Any much difference compared to xt?

Hope eventually sd can quote a good price

Just ask the peeps here..

Given both Brand at the same pricepoint, would they go for shimano or litepro?

Or ask yourself, which brand at first glance you straightaway recognised and trust?

Should be pretty straightforward right?

I was told that Litepro is a reverse engineered company.

Personally I will pick shimano products over Litepro any time.

Hmmmmm, how to say good...

My levers doesnt rattle, even my stock SRAM Avid FR5 levers also dont rattle...Brakes pads also need to adjust properly...

The caliper and lever i brought from bike24, total of 90,44 € with shipping(Shipping alone was 19,95 €)..Cant remember the exact converted amt i paid in SGD..

Good also quite subjective actually. Currently just got not much confidence in the stock brakes, feels abit flimsy. As my bike go faster and faster, don't know can tahan or not
