You can purchase a RF Cable with the connector like below:

from any electrical shops in Sim Lim Square or retailers like Best Denki, Courts or Harvey Norman.

Some HDB areas have small electrical shops may have it too.

Using this RF Cable to connect to your Starhub Box will achieve better Radio reception for your RXV465.

I noticed that only RX-V571 can support HDMI upscaling, what does this mean? Do i need this feature if my blueray player already support upscaling?

Hi!

RX-V571 supports upscaling is more use in Standard Definition sources like DVDs, VCDs, even SD Set-Top Boxes.

Hence it depends on your sources more for you to decide which model should you take on.

In future to come, High-Def will be widely available and Upscaling might not be useful. That depends alot on how long Singapore takes to move into Full HD broadcasting and also when can Blu-ray disc fully take-over DVDs. Also depending on your sources, if BD and Set-Top Box is all you have, you just need to upgrade your set-top box to HD one, and all you need is just RXV471.

Hope you get better understanding from here to make a decision.

I dont have set top box, i only have a blue ray player that supports upscaling. That means dont need the upscaling feature in RX-V571?

I have htr 6230. With the dtv/cbl connection for my Xbox 360 with hdmi cable and optical cable, audio and video is routed only in hdmi.
If i connect my hdmi directly to my tv and optical cable to my receiver, this setup works.

Is there any way I can force my receiver to use optical link for audio and hdmi for video using the dtv/cbl connection?

You can't force it bro.

Do give a check over your Xbox 360 HDMI Audio Settings. Set the HDMI Audio to OFF and try.

Afterwhich if it still doesn't work, see below:

Yamaha YSP-2200 with Starhub Hubstation HD?

Hi all, just got my Yamaha YSP-2200 yesterday evening, and all was good till I connected the Hubstation HD to it. My setup is Sony KDL40EX520 connected to YSP via ARC, BD player to hdmi1 for YSP, Hubstation HD to hdmi2. When I watch BD via hdmi1, all is good. However, when I switch to hdmi2, I see blue screen flashing. When I power off the Hubstation, and power it back again, the images come in. This morning, when I wake up to try again (all machines were on standby mode), the blue screen happened again! I had to once again power cycle the Hubstation to let images appear. Anyone has faced similar problem? Do note that I had swap cables and connected the Hubstation directly to the tv, and it works. Any suggestions would be welcomed!

One more question, I tried to find the user manual from the Yamaha SG website, but cannot find the manual for YSP-2200, anyone knows where I can download it? I tried the US website, but needs to register to a US address before I can download it
