Pardon my ignorance but does it mean the S400 comes with stands to make it work in vertical position?

Yht-294 receiver

Hi there. Do you know what receiver comes with the yht-294 system ? The salesman at courts told me it has true hd sound. I checked website, does not have. So can confirm if have or do not have?
Is the receiver ht-3064 what we are getting?

2.1 Speakers

Hi,
I wonder if Yamaha has any 2.1 speaker to be connected up to AV Receiver for better sound system?

Hi sorry for the late reply.

You don't need a stand to make it stand vertical.

Cheers!

Thanks Eric for the reply. :)
That means no truehd . Guess the sales guy was smoking me. Rather get the pioneer pss-521. At least it has truehd. ;)

Hi bro,

YHT-294 does not have built-in HD Audio decoders.

You may consider YHT-296 which is just newly introduced in Courts stores which has built-in HD Audio Decoders in the AVR.

Cheers!

Hi Eric,

Currently we do not have 2.1ch system yet.

You may wish to consider the following.

Subwoofer

Speakers

These can be made up to 2.1 ch configuration.

Cheers!

Apologies for butting in, but how much is the YHT-296 going for?

Thank you!

Hi YamahaSG,

Wanted to get the YSP2200, but was told that there will not be stock island wide. Is this true?
Do you reckon that there will be a YSP promo during the upcoming SITEX like the free iPod dock etc?
