Hi, I tried the Bluetooth connection, i think its work pretty good.

Just that the when Im connected my.TV's Headphone jack to soundbar, its work, but not so good with some "urgguuu" noise.

I connected my TV audio output to soundbar audio input, no sound at all. That do not have any setting fm TV for this connection. My TV is Sharp LC-50LE440M.

Could you pls advise the connection method. Thanks.

Hi,

No sound from your bar input means you will have to go back to your original audio source and check if TV is sending the audio signal output. I suggest you check with the TV Manufacturer. Else, probably the salesperson who sold you the TV is the best person to assist.

You should not use the headphone audio output to connect to the system, instead you should use the TV Audio Output to connect to the system.

Have you tried any other source into the system other then TV?

Hi,

Sorry, you have to find a "Source" to output via Analog Audio (Red & White RCA), then you will know if this is the Yamaha YSP-1400 problem. Source means any audio output using RCA Red & White. It can be a CD Player, Blu-ray Player, DAC, anything.. etc..

As for the 3.5mm Mini Jack Audio Output, i don't have the set with me to help your TV problem. Please refer to Sharp for further assistance.

Thank you.

I can further assist you to verify if this is a YSP-1400 RCA Audio Input faulty if you bring your set down to our showroom. Let me know if you think you want to do this as we may not be around. Let me know via PM so i can contact you directly to fix a time.

Opsss...
I tried using a DVD player, using RCA output to YSP1400 RCA Input, the analog source it is good...

But when I use TV headphone jack (the only connection my TV allowed) to YSP1400 RCA Input, both built-in subwoofer got the "urguuuuuuuu" sound... Its very irritating and uncomfortable. .. does this mean my tv not compatible with YSP1400???? What kind of solutions that I have? Replace a soundbar with HDMI connection? Or I got to change my TV? Both solutions are not practical. ...

PLEASE HELP! Thanks million!!!

Hi,

I got a v577 that works with iphone AV controller app.
My note 2 av controller app gets connected but has the "unable to play" error message whenever I wanted to play a song in my phone.
the iphone works but not my note 2.

I tried the app on my note 2 with 575 in best denki before and it works.

Do you have any suggestion for me to allow the av controller on my note 2 to work?

May I know the difference between MHT3067 AND MHT3774. Thank you.

Hi boonkeng,

Basically the key difference between both are the speaker systems.

MHT-3067 use NS-P285, while MHT-3774 use NS-P40.

The difference is in the Speakers. Take a read at the Specs column and you should be able to see the difference.

Cheers!

Hi there,

I think it has something to do with your router settings configurations. If you are concern whether the RX-V577 has a fault in this, then i suggest you to bring to our showroom and i will test with your Note 2.
Otherwise, there is nothing i could do at this moment for you. Another alternative is try using manual IP address Input in your Note 2 AV Controller App. This might helps in some cases i met before.

Cheers!

Hi, I noticed the difference but unsure which is better. Is the P40 or P285 better? Appreciate your advise. Thanks.

Hi,

I am connecting directly to yamaha wireless. Not my router. I don't think 577 gt issue since it can work with iphone5s. Just wondering if you have any solutions for such cases.

I tried uninstall the app and reinstalling it also not working. I tried manual IP and then TA DA. working. so weird.

Thanks for the reply and solution.

Hi YamahaSG,

Based on your recommendation back in June, I had gotten RX-A840 with NS-PA160 and NS-P160 for my 7.1 setup.
I have not set them up as my house is not yet ready, but I would like to ask about the network playback:
I have a Synology NAS that support DLNA, and the RX-A840 supports DLNA as well. Does that mean it can decode files (video/audio) from my NAS direct, or does it serves as a pass-through?

Hi SGJoe,

It means it will stream the audio signals into AVR and decode them into PCM to the speakers. Note that it does not stream any video signals. To stream your video contents, you could use your Smart TV or Blu-ray player streaming feature.

Cheers!

Hi,

For YSP-2200, possible to use a wired head phone for night use? I checked but couldn't figure it out.

If the above is not possible, can you recommend a Yamaha sound bar, Bluetooth or wireless, that can connect to a wired or wireless headphone in the range of 300-500?

Basically, I want to watch movies at night and doesn't want to disturb my family because of the noise.

Hi,

Can you provide me your speaker's brand & model?

If you do not have, take a photo of your speaker front & back.

PM me the images.

Thank you.
