Hi yamahasg

can yst-fsw050 connect to other brand of soundbar?. I have a akira soundbar. was thinking of getting a subwoofer to link to it. if can, what kind of subwoofer cable is needed?. the soundbar have a SW rca port.
one more thing, if my gaming console is connected to my soundbar via optical, will there be sound if the woofer is connected to soundbar via SW rca..

Yes, any soundbar with a SW output can connect to the YST-FSW050. You can get any RCA cable to connect from the soundbar to the sub, or you get a delicated subwoofer cable.

Yep, there will be signal from the subwoofer via optical.

hi, thanks for ur info.. one last thing, my woofer has two rca ( red and white) . so the subwoofer cable that I need to get is the 2way cable? for eg 2 pin from woofer to 1pin in soundbar?

Yes, 2 to 1 RCA cable is highly recommended if your sub supports L/R input

Hi Yamaha,

i purchase the YSP2500 few days ago, and i have an issue connecting to my Samsung TV model UA65HU7200K 's ARC HDMI port.

Is this a known issue? How do I solve it and make the ARC work seamlessly?

please advice...

Hi eridanus,

for ARC to work between both products,

for samsung TV - make sure ANYNET function is on
for YSP-2500 - go menu>HDMI Control On.

Please let me know if there is any issue still.

Thanks

Thanks a lot. Does Yamaha has a Bluetooth adapter that can connect to YSP 4300 to make it a Bluetooth speaker?

Good morning,

Yes, we do. You can consider using our YBA-11 to stream your music into 4300.
